In honor of Frank Borden - the "father of CERT" - and in his memory, there will be a special webinar, covering the history of CERT and it's future. All CERT members are invited!! The webinar will be held on Friday, May 14th from 10:00am to 11:30am Pacific.

Frank led the creation of the CERT program in 1985, graduating the first class of community members in 1986. As the deputy Fire Chief at the Los Angeles City Fire Department, Frank led the development of the volunteer training program now known as the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT).
